Ted Goodman Earns 2026 Attorney for Justice Seal

We're proud to share that Theodore "Ted" W. Goodman has been named a 2026 Attorney for Justice by the Tennessee Access to Justice program. The recognition honors Tennessee attorneys who report 50 or more hours of pro bono legal service in a calendar year.

The announcement came on October 1, the first day of "Celebrate Pro Bono Month" in Tennessee. In its notice, Access to Justice thanked Ted for his commitment to providing legal services that make a meaningful difference for Tennesseans who face barriers to justice.

Supporting Nonprofits Through Pro Bono Service

Ted focuses most of his pro bono efforts rendering pro bono services to nonprofit organizations. Nonprofits carry out important work in our communities, but their resources are often directed toward their mission rather than legal costs. Questions about governance, contracts, property, and other legal matters still come up, and having an experienced attorney to turn to can help an organization keep its attention on the people it serves.

By donating his time and legal knowledge to these organizations, Ted helps strengthen the groups that serve our neighbors across Middle Tennessee. The impact of that work reaches well beyond the legal matters he handles.

A Firm Rooted in Service

For more than 50 years, Murfree, Goodman & Rosado, PLLC has served families, businesses, and property owners in Murfreesboro and across Middle Tennessee. Giving back to the community that has supported us has always been part of how we practice. Ted's recognition reflects that tradition, and we're grateful for his dedication.

This is not the first time Ted has been recognized for this work. He has earned Attorney for Justice honors in previous years as well.

Congratulations, Ted!

Thank you for the many hours you've given in service to our community. We're proud to call you a colleague.
